Parz Lake sits at about 1,330 m inside Dilijan National Park. A gentle 2 km loop trail around the lake is family-friendly and perfect for light hiking.

In summer you can rent pedal boats or rowboats, fish and spot local wildlife in the surrounding forest.

In spring the hills turn bright green, in autumn the forest becomes gold and red. Even in summer it usually feels cooler here than in the city — an hour by the lake often feels like a whole day of real rest.

What to Do

Take forest walks, follow the trail towards Goshavank, photograph the mirror-like lake surface, watch birds and relax at the outdoor cafes and picnic areas.

About 7 km from Dilijan town by taxi or car along the forest road signposted for Parz Lake.
